On 10 February, business and industry leaders shared their views with the White Paper Taskforce on the future of Australia's international economic engagement.
Participants shared their insights into a range of economic opportunities in our region and beyond, and highlighted the importance of ensuring our trade, investment, people and domestic settings are well positioned for the decade ahead.
Participants also discussed the next generation of challenges to trade, including non-tariff barriers, behind-the-border regulatory settings and divergent standards.
The Trade and Investment Roundtable is one of several issues-specific consultations the White Paper Taskforce is conducting as part of its public consultations process.
